Thaumatophyllum

Formerly known as Philodendrons, Thaumatophyllum is a genus of Aroids. Native to South America, they like tropical environments. In their maturity they can form a thick trunk and can grow to be very large. They contain calcium oxalate crystals that can be irritating if ingested.
