Hoya 'Retusa' is anything but your average Hoya. With long, narrow leaves that look like green noodles, it has a quirky, wild growth habit that’s perfect for hanging baskets or letting spill off a shelf. While most Hoyas grow thick, waxy foliage, retusa keeps things light and airy.
- Light: Bright, indirect light; can tolerate some direct sun
- Water: Water when at least the top 2 inches of soil are dry
- Pet-Friendly: Yes
- Humidity: Prefers high humidity but adapts to average indoor conditions

Hoya retusa has been on my list of plants to look out for and hadn't found any until I visited this store for the first time. They had a good number of stock to choose from which made it hard to decide. I ended up choosing a pot that already had some trailing vines. I already own a small 3 in pot that I'm rehabbing so I'm hoping to eventually combine the two! The price was affordable and loved all the various plants y'all carried. The Jungle Room is definitely added to my list of places to check for plants when I visit family!

I love all my plants from this store, they were really well packed and traveled amazing! None of them lost any leafs during travel or repotting and they all have new leafs growing.

This might not be everyone’s vibe, or looks too appealing at first glance when it’s still a small cluster. I have high hopes for it and I know what it can become! If you love Hoya Linearis you will love this. I can’t wait for it to grow fuller and strain more. Love that messy look!
