This Philodendron is a BWH Exclusive cultivar of the already variegated Jose Buono, known for even more dramatic splashes of cream and lime across large, paddle-shaped green leaves. This fast-growing, climbing aroid is native to tropical regions of South America and was grown in our Florida greenhouse. Its leaves can grow quite large with age and proper care!

It was beautiful and healthy. Of good size. The only thing I wish could have been different was the amount of variegation... but that is a very minor thing, overall still 5 stars and worth the purchase. After looking at the pic, pretty sure it is about to explode with white leaves.

Received this beautiful healthy plant but I noticed that there was only one variegated leaf. There was a new leaf coming in when I received it, but that leaf barely has any variegation at all. This appears to be a robust and fast growing philodendron as it is already pushing out a new leaf, but it appears to be all green. Not going to chop it up to try and force more variegation, but I thought Jose Buonos were known for stable variegation. Im wondering if the BWH “fiesta” variegation is unstable? Time will tell. Overall satisfied with how healthy the plant is, which is the most important factor to me.
BPBWH Plant Co3 weeks agoThanks for the review! Variegation can be unpredictable across all variegated plants, but this particular Philo can be encouraged to produce more with high light, as well as warmer temps 😄 Spring/summer growth should be much better overall!

I bought a Jose Buono Fiesta philodendron as a gift for my wife, who’s a big fan of plants. I thought it would be a great addition to her collection, and she absolutely loved it. The quality of the packaging is a good indicator of a company’s attention to detail. The plant was carefully packed to protect it without suffocating it.
