    Beauty that will last?

    I love this Alocasia Hilo Beauty, but I'm nervous she won't last. I left her alone for a week to acclimate and did some more research in the meantime for her care. I expected some wilt with the long trek from Florida to Virginia, but she's lost one of her four leaves, working on the second as I type this. I've tried diagnosing her needs, and I started with placing a humidifier by her and moving her closer to the window (but not too close). I'm hoping she'll hang on for me, but it's not looking great.

    Beautiful but sensitive

    I think this one is a little sensitive to shipping. She is still beautiful though and I love BWH!

    Maybe it was a rough a transit

    I think maybe it was a rough transit for this baby. The leaves were super tall and beautifully colored, but one definitely had a rough time. I have since lost all the leaves but I expected a little rough time since the one leaf was damaged upon receipt. I lost all 3 leaves it had but a new one has just started to unfurl.
