These are so pretty, I would have thought I'd see them everywhere. But then, Calathea can be tricky. These have been dramatic in the sense that it's very easy to tell when they want water, and they perk right back up after getting a good drink. The leaves look velvety, but are not. I'm really glad I bought them. I think they are a good beginner to intermediate level plant.

I love calatheas, mainly because the are safe for pets. But this one is one of my favorites. A little browning on the leaves but its getting a lot of new growth which looks great.
