    Pretty plant, sad arrival.

    I was super excited for this one. Got it unboxed, but it got pretty beat up in shipping. One of the mid leaves had been chopped, the new leaf was bruised, and the petiole of its 2nd largest leaf was bent so ngl it looked really pitiful.

    The variegation is gorgeous though, super stoked to grow it out. The bruised leaf has unfurled since unboxing and now I’m just waiting for a fresh leaf.

    Some type of cardboard frame or tube around with the pot secured inside would be a good consideration for plants like this.

    I love these banana plants! My first one didnt survive so I’m trying it again (i bought 2). Sadly, the box was pretty crushed from shipping and the leaves were damaged on one of the plants. I hope it will hang on until it pushes out another leaf! I saw a pic of someone elses var. musa florida that is big and beautiful! I hope i can get mine to be that big!

    A dream plant come true

    I’ve wanted this variegated banana for quite awhile and been patiently waiting because it’s been out of stock. It arrived in perfect condition in soil with some moss for moisture retention I assume. I purchased during a sale, so it took quite some time to get shipped out, but it was definitely worth the wait. A beautiful addition to my collection!
