Variegated Alocasia 'Frydek' is a highly sought-after cultivar with arrow-shaped, velvety green leaves splashed with irregular patches of creamy white. As the plant matures, its foliage becomes more dramatic and defined. This species is a self-heading grower that stays relatively compact, typically reaching 2–3 feet tall indoors. Native to Southeast Asia, grown in our FL greenhouse.

    Absolutely beautiful!!!

    I am in love with this plant! My family was all giving me a hard time about having bought "another plant" until I showed it to them lol then they were like "Oh! Never mind, that's so pretty!" This is by far my new favorite plant. It had 2 little tiny sprouting corms as well, both with a leaf. Unfortunately I broke the leaf off of one when I reported it into pon, but I just popped it into the pon as well, and it'll be fine. I've had it 8 days now and it's already put out a beautiful new leaf. I know you're not supposed to report right away but I was gonna be putting it in my cabinet so I figured in those conditions it could recover from whatever stress repotting would inflict and I was right! Not a single sign of stress from this healthy beauty, and now I don't have to worry about killing it because it's in pon. Now fingers crossed it grows it's water roots quickly without damaging any leads in the meantime.

    3rd time is the charm (so far)

    My alocasias always do well until they don’t. This is my 3rd one and it seems to be doing well! Has put out a new leaf since receiving so wish me luck! Gorgeous plant.
