6" Alocasia 'Polly'

As usual, BWH delivered! A real beauty ready to be admired. I mean, how can I not love a plant that goes by "African Mask" with its dark green, arrow-shaped leaves with glossy surfaces and bold, contrasting white veins? Quite stunning! Let me pass along a lesson I learned about caring for this plant. You see, in every cartoon, parrots are always saying, "Polly want a cracker." Being the logical man that I am, i tried feeding a cracker to the Alocasia Polly, it didn't react at all. So my advice is, as tempting as it might be to feed it a cracker, you should stick to water and light. Furthermore, you shouldn't believe everything you see in cartoons. I really thought that near every body of water, I would come face-to-face with a pool of quicksand ready to swallow me up, and besides, I've only been hit on the head once by an anvil thrown from a building by the guy who drives the Acme truck. Fortunately, I was immediately covered in band-aids and recovered.
