The Variegated Hoya 'Macrophylla' is known for its thick, textured leaves with creamy margins that sometimes blush pink in bright light. Each leaf is broad and veined, giving it a distinct look compared to other trailing hoyas. It’s a slow and steady grower that’s great in a hanging pot or climbing support, and once mature, it can reward you with clusters of waxy flowers.
- Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Can tolerate some direct sunlight, but too much can cause leaf burn.
- Water: Water when the top inch of soil is dry. Allow soil to dry out between waterings to avoid root rot.

This was one of a few plants purchased, and it didn’t fair super well in the shipping. BWH was very responsive to my concerns and immediately offered a replacement. I was able to save a bit of the original and combine the two plants together, and they’re doing very well (photo is several months later).
