4" Fatsia 'Japonica'
Fatsia Japonica, sometimes called Japanese aralia or paper plant, is known for its large, glossy green leaves divided into broad, finger-like lobes. It grows into a full, upright plant that can reach around 4–6 feet tall indoors, giving you a lot of plant without being particularly fussy about care. It also handles lower light better than many plants its size, though brighter indirect light will keep growth fuller.
- Light: Medium to bright, indirect light; tolerates lower light
- Water: Allow the top half of the soil to dry between waterings
- Pet-Friendly: Yes
- Humidity: Prefers moderate humidity but adapts well indoors
- Care Level: Easy
Don't panic! Those fuzzy white and red hairs along the stems and leaf joints are completely normal for Fatsia Japonica. They're a natural part of the plant and not a sign of pests.
