Alocasia 'Infernalis' is a rare and exotic plant prized for its dramatic, nearly black foliage with subtle purple undertones and a glossy, metallic sheen. Compact in size, this Alocasia thrives with high humidity and bright, indirect light, bringing a bold, tropical vibe to your space.

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light; avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch its delicate leaves
  • Water: Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry; avoid overwatering to prevent root rot
  • Pet-Friendly: No, toxic to pets if ingested
  • Humidity: Requires high humidity (60% or more); a humidifier is recommended for optimal growth
  • Care Level: Moderate to expert; ideal for experienced plant enthusiasts who enjoy caring for rare tropical varieties

    I love black plants!!

This plant is absolutely so cool. I cannot get over the color of these leaves!! One leaf came in with several brown spots but overall the plant is doing very well! I love it💞
