Alocasia 'Venom' is a striking tropical collector plant known for its dramatic, deeply textured foliage and bold contrasting veins. The dark, sculpted leaves create an almost reptilian appearance, giving this rare Alocasia its fitting name. Compact yet eye-catching, 'Venom' brings an exotic, high-end look to any plant collection and becomes even more impressive as it matures. Grown in our Florida greenhouse.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light
  • Water: Keep soil lightly moist but never soggy; allow the top layer to begin drying between waterings
  • Pet-Friendly: No, toxic to pets
  • Humidity: Prefers high humidity for best growth
  • Care Level: Moderate; appreciates consistent moisture, warmth, and humidity

Heads up: Alocasias are long-game plants! It’s normal for a few leaves to yellow or drop after shipping. This type of leaf loss is expected and not covered under our plant guarantee.

    Wonderful experience

This is my first order from BWH and I am very very pleased with it! I have been following for years but I have always had poor experiences with shipped plants and generally avoided it, until I saw my wishlist plant come up I knew I had to give it a try. The plant is significantly bigger than I imagined and was so healthy, no mites or any pests or other concerns in sight. I am very happy with how thorough the package was packed, I know it took a little bit of time to ship but it was absolutely worth the wait. I will definitely be purchasing again!
