Calathea 'Crimson' is a fun and popular houseplant that is best known for its big ovate leaves with a deep red center and dark green edges. It loves bright, indirect sunlight and moist soil and does best in a high-humidity environment. This plant is also known for its leaves curling up at night and unfurling in the morning. It has excellent air-purifying qualities and makes a beautiful addition to any home.

    Beautiful and Healthy!

    My plant arrived very secured and safe in its package. It was so strong and healthy, and continues to do amazingly! The colors are so unique, and its growing so fast! It prefers distilled water or rain water, I tried tap water once and it got a little crispy, but it rebounded well with a water that has less minerals. I have repotted her and she continues to thrive!

    Crimson Beauty!

    So excited to receive this botanical beauty. I’ve had one similar to her a few years back but, she suffered an overdose from fertilizer abuse. But let me tell you…this new lady is a fast one! We’ve only been together for a week and she’s already unfurling and spreading out, two of her leaves.

    Healthy and strong

    This little fellow came to me in perfect condition and has been thriving! He already has a new leaf cone coming up and I can see another new growth point coming through the soil. The color is just drop dead gorgeous. No regrets. Highly recommended
