My turtle plant arrived in soil that was absolutely drenched and halfway sticking out of the pot, which wouldn’t be an issue but I can’t touch the strings without losing a great deal of turtles (I read this to be a sign of overwatering). Had some extremely mushy leaves. Bottom watering probably would’ve been a better call for this specific plant.
The strings themselves were also twisted and wrapped in a weird cluster that I haven’t been able to separate. You would think that, with how delicate and prone to breakage this plant appears to be, this would be packaged in such a way that promotes some kind of direction and care with separation of strings following arrival in mind. I can’t tell the condition of this plant closer to the soil without feeling as though I’m losing 20-30 turtles, minimum, with every tiny and gentle adjustment.
I’ve tried contacting customer service with no reply.
