Spider Plant (Chlorophytum comosum) is a classic, easygoing houseplant known for its arching green leaves and long runners that produce baby “spiderettes.” Native to South Africa and grown in our Florida greenhouse, it forms a clumping base and can spread 1–2 feet wide while sending out trailing stems that make it perfect for shelves and hanging baskets.
