July Mini Makers Workshops
We're hosting weekly kids classes all month long. Join us for our summer camp-style workshop experience geared just for kids!
Designed just for ages 4–10, this weekly series invites your little ones to Jungle Room for a fun and hands-on creative adventure, centered around plant-themed crafts and nature-inspired play. It’s the perfect way to break up the summer slump with a little art, a little dirt, and a whole lot of smiles.
Each week in July, we’ll host a new kids craft workshop at our shop in College Park. Every session runs about one hour and includes all the materials needed—just bring your creativity!
Recommended for ages 4–10.
Parents are required to stay on-site, but you’re welcome to be as hands-on as you’d like during the class—or simply browse and shop while we guide your child through their project.

🎨 Meet Your Instructor: Clair
Say hello to Clair—the creative heart behind our kids art classes!
Clair is the ultimate plant mom, proud grandma, and resident art enthusiast here at Jungle Room. (Fun fact: she’s also mom to Carlie, Jungle Room’s founder—so you could say the green thumb runs in the family!)
With years of hands-on experience in the classroom, Clair taught art to students in grades K–6, working with kids of all abilities and focusing on both creative development and inclusive support for those with special needs.
These days, Clair draws inspiration from crafting with her 5-year-old grandson (and yes—many of our workshop ideas start at his art table!). She’s passionate about making art fun, accessible, and mess-friendly for kids of all ages. Some of her favorite mediums include acrylic painting, pottery, and paper mâché.
Clair is also a member of the Orlando Museum of Art’s Council of 101 and an active part of the local creative scene. While her heart is in the arts, her day job is in real estate—she’s been helping families find their dream homes for over 13 years. As a Winter Park resident, Clair continues to share her love for both homes and houseplants.
With Clair leading the way, your little one is in good hands for a summer full of creativity and joy.
