Variegated Alocasia 'Frydek' is a highly sought-after cultivar with arrow-shaped, velvety green leaves splashed with irregular patches of creamy white. As the plant matures, its foliage becomes more dramatic and defined. This species is a self-heading grower that stays relatively compact, typically reaching 2–3 feet tall indoors. Native to Southeast Asia, grown in our FL greenhouse.

    Beautiful variegation

    Really pretty plant. Took a couple weeks to ship but once in mail arrived quickly. Heat pack was included. does appear I will lose a leaf or 2 due to shock of shipping. Overall really nice plant.

    Simply Gorgeous!

    I was hesitant to purchase this because of all the backlash Alocasia’s get. But so far, it’s holding up really well, despite my maybe not so “perfect” setup. Also, while I was waiting for my order, I was in contact with Valentina via email and she was extremely wonderful and informative on how I should care for my Frydek upon receiving her (along with the other plant in my order). She was fantastic!

    When she finally arrived, she was packaged really well. She had only one yellow leaf, which I was honestly surprised with her traveling from Florida to NY, in the cold Winter! I simply removed the leaf. I’ve now had her for almost 2 weeks and she has already produced and unfurled a ‘big’ leaf and two small leaves from the soil; one being a “half moon” variegated leaf which Im excited about. It seems to be holding up very well. I have since removed 2 of the bottom leaves due to discoloration, which seemed to be from natural cause; just older leaves retiring for the new growth coming in. The variegation is beautiful. The leaves she arrived with truly do seem/feel/look strong and healthy and the new growth is likewise. And I haven’t noticed any pests or fungus.

    I’m super excited and satisfied with this purchase. And I definitely recommend! 😌

    The plant was exactly as pictured. I recently ventured into the alocasia world and was so excited to get this plant. The packaging was great and the plant arrived without damage. Great price too! And it’s pushing out a new leaf.
