Alocasia 'Gageana Aurea' is a variegated form of the dwarf elephant ear, featuring bold splashes of yellow and lime across broad, paddle-shaped green leaves. As it matures, it can reach 3–4 feet tall indoors and grows from a central upright stem. Native to tropical Asia through its species lineage, grown in our FL greenhouse.

    This alocasia is definitely one of my favorite plants in my collection. The variegation is beautiful and the shape of the leaves… she’s just a beauty to look at. The first plant I bought from BWH was not packaged well, and it also could’ve had something to do with how it was handled by postal service. But this package was delivered perfectly, no complaints.

    FUUUULLL and BEAUTIFUL

    I was so shocked to open my package and find such a full plant. She was a little funky looking with some yellowing leaves from the transition but a few days later and WOW!!!🤩 Love this shop. Never fails to make me smile.

    a bit disappointed

    … only because the variegation isn’t as pronounced like in the pictures advertised. buuuut looks like there’s about 4 plants here so i’m hoping the new leaves will have more variegation!
