Variegated Alocasia 'Macrorrhiza' features large, glossy leaves with creamy white variegation that contrasts against deep green. This fast-growing, self-heading variety can reach impressive heights in ideal conditions. Native to Southeast Asia and grown in our Florida greenhouse, it's a bold addition to any collection.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light is best; can tolerate some direct morning sun
  • Water: Water when the top inch of soil feels dry; do not allow soil to stay soggy
  • Pet-Friendly: No, toxic to pets
  • Humidity: Prefers high humidity; occasional misting or a nearby humidifier is helpful
  • Care Level: Moderate; sensitive to overwatering and low humidity

    Nice plant

    This alocasia is definitely a keeper. I wanted to wait a few weeks to see how she would hold up and I have to say, she’s met all of my expectations. She’s definitely heartier than my variegated frydek while looking similar. I would definitely buy this one again.

    Variegated Beauty!

    I can't wait for this one to grow and get big leaves. She is stunning! I lost a couple baby leaves that were majority white but that's to be expected. Im looking forward to watching her grow.
