Anthurium 'Forgetii x Luxurians' is an in-house hybrid that blends the round, lobe-less shape of A. forgetii with the textured, deeply veined leaves of A. luxurians. The result is a compact, velvety-leafed plant with rich green coloring and subtle ridges. This anthurium plant stays relatively small, maturing around 1–2 feet tall, and grows upright from a central stem. Native to Colombia and Ecuador through its parent species, grown in our FL greenhouse.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light is best; too much sun can damage the foliage
  • Water: Keep soil evenly moist; let the top inch dry slightly between waterings
  • Pet-Friendly: No, toxic to pets
  • Humidity: Needs high humidity (60%+); will do best with added moisture in the air
  • Care Level: Moderate to advanced; consistent humidity and warmth are key

    What a beauty……

    This is the 2nd anthurium I’ve purchased from BWH and I’m in love. This forgetii hybrid is so silky and shiny. I’ve had it for two months and it’s pushing out its second leaf. Don’t think about it, go ahead and add one to your cart.

    heart-shaped and minimal

    I like the heart-shaped leaves and that the veins are minimal. My friend likes Lux so I will be gifting this to her. BWH has great customer service and their representatives care about satisfaction. Quality plants at affordable prices. The packaging and soil quality is top notch. Love the rewards programs as well.
