6" Variegated Philodendron Green Congo 'Copper Flame'
Philodendron Green Congo 'Copper Flame' (also called 'Nuclear') is a rare variegated cultivar with large, paddle-shaped leaves with creamy variegation and new growth that unfurls in a striking copper tone. Unlike many philodendrons, this one is self-heading—it grows upright rather than trailing or climbing. In ideal conditions, it can reach 2–3 feet tall and wide indoors. This cultivar traces its origins to cultivated hybrids of tropical South America and is grown in our FL greenhouse.
- Light: Bright, indirect light helps maintain variegation; avoid direct sun
- Water: Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil feels dry; ensure good drainage
- Pet-Friendly: No, toxic to pets
- Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity
- Care Level: Moderate; stable conditions help preserve its variegated growth
Note: Images are a general representation of size and color. Variegation will vary.

I was really impressed with this plant. It was purchased as a gift. I had purchased a 4" copper flame when they were first released, and the 6" copper flames totally exceeded my expectations. Big, healthy leaves, with amazing variegation. Couldn't believe how awesome the plants looked right out of the shipping box either!
