I'm not sure if this was due to the movement while in shipment, but my ZZ arrived all bent in one direction. I'm hoping she'll grow straighter. Also waiting for the leaves to darken.

Most plants get a bit confused when going from our bright greenhouse into a dark box for a few days (rightfully so!) so they need a bit of time to stretch their legs and straighten up once they arrive - we usually suggest about 2 weeks for acclimation. Bright light from directly above and a good bit of humidity will help tons 😊

I've been wanting this plant for a while and was glad to see it was back in stock. The packaging was well done and it has some new growth on it. Definitely will have to repot once it acclimates because it's literally bursting out of the pot. The roots are coming out of the top and bottom and the pot is misshaped. Overall healthy plant . I can't wait for it to take off.

when i received this plant the rhizomes & roots were about to burst the 4in nursery pot! i repotted it & now 2 months later there is so much new growth popping up!

The Black Queen is gorgeous! She came perfectly and carefully wrapped with, once again, a strong root system. This picture is 7 months later after a repot and a new placement in my East facing window. She receives bright indirect light and started thriving more after placing her here 2 months ago. The green stalk is her latest growth and the biggest, yet! I'm so excited to see her continue to grow and be a big luscious beauty.

Extremely root bound. Roots coming out the top and bottoming of the Pot This would normally be great, but the pot was so deformed it wouldn’t stand on its own. Besides that the plant was moist and healthy. Thank you!
