4" Alocasia 'Lutea'

The Alocasia 'Lutea', a striking plant known for its arrowhead-shaped leaves with unique green veins and vibrant yellow stems and veins as they mature. Thriving in very bright, indirect or filtered light, this Alocasia flourishes near west or south-facing windows but out of direct sun. It requires well-draining soil with ample aeration, benefiting from additions like perlite and orchid bark. Water when the top two inches of soil are dry, roughly every 10 days, ensuring it doesn’t sit in soggy soil. While frequent leaf shedding is normal as new leaves emerge, this Alocasia will grow larger and fuller in higher humidity.
