Begonia 'Zanzibar', also known as Zanzibar Begonia, adds a touch of elegance to any indoor space with its stunning foliage and medium growth habit. This begonia thrives in medium morning light to afternoon shade, making it perfect for bright, dappled light conditions. However, be cautious of too much bright light, as it can cause the edges of the leaves to crisp. Keep the soil evenly moist, but not overly wet, as dry soil can lead to yellowing or crispy leaves. While Begonia 'Zanzibar' does not require special humidity considerations, it prefers well-drained, fertile soil to prevent root and stem rot. Please note that this plant is not pet-friendly.
