Begonia 'Maledives' is a low maintenance plant that prefer to be in a bright shade, not direct sunlight. They grow amazingly indoors and outdoors. When repotting, minimize root disturbance and avoid watering for 2-3 days to aid root establishment. During this period, place the plant in a bright shady spot to prevent sunburn. Begonias prefer warm, fertile, well-drained soil and cannot tolerate freezing temperatures. Remember, these plants are toxic to animals, so keep them out of reach of pets.
