Ok so I am obsessed with this plant though IT IS VERY HARD TO KEEP HAPPY!
If you are not familiar with this species don't do it.
This is my second velvet I've bought from BWH. Last year I managed to have mine flower. However, I live in Oklahoma so our winter weather is horrible.
Cold, too wet... you HAVE to be on top of this dude.
I thought my first one died. I threw him into the plant graveyard and he is somehow surviving.
