3" Monstera 'Obliqua' (Peruvian Form)

I was a bit apprehensive about getting this plant, I love it but it is expensive and I was concern about it struggling in my apartment. I don't grow plants in terrariums or greenhouses because I like to enjoy them so I force all my plants to adapt to my apartment conditions. I do provide a good growing area with measured light, small fans, I keep humidity at around 50%, and I water all my plants with RO water. This obliqua took an initial beating adjusting to the lower humidity, as you can see with the crisping around the edges of the leaves. This is completely normal, and I'm happy to report that since its arrival about 45 days ago, it has pushed two new pristine leaves that look glossy and very fenestrated. On the picture attached you can see the new leaves to the right and the older ones to the left. It seems that it can perfectly tolerate my conditions, so I'm happy!
